Terms of Service

These terms govern the services of High Tech Repair LLC, including those of Your Phone Is Cash, a brand of High Tech Repair LLC. By using them you agree to these terms.

Repairs

Diagnosis is free. We provide a quote before any paid work; repairs proceed only with your approval. Repairs include a 30-day warranty on parts and labor, covering the specific repair performed (not unrelated or new damage, liquid damage or misuse).

Data & backups

You are responsible for backing up your data. We are not liable for data loss during repair. Remove your passcode when possible to speed up service.

Device buyback (Your Phone Is Cash)

Cash offers for devices are based on the model and condition you provide and are confirmed on inspection. Devices must be your property and free of active locks/financing unless disclosed.

Carrier unlocking (IMEI)

Unlocking is a remote service performed through the carrier's official process using the IMEI you provide. By placing an order you declare that the device is yours or that you have the owner's permission to unlock it. We do not unlock devices reported lost or stolen; if a device is reported, the order is cancelled and refunded.

Price and turnaround are set by the carrier and shown before payment; stated times are estimates, not guarantees. If the order is rejected and we get refunded, you get a full refund; if we do not get refunded, there is no refund. Services marked "usually no refund if it fails" almost never get refunded to us when they fail. If the order is rejected on receipt (for example, a mistyped IMEI), you get a full refund and we explain why; if it is accepted and later rejected because the IMEI belongs to another device or the device does not meet the service requirements, there is no refund. On the AT&T status check + unlock services that say so, a result that is only a diagnosis refunds the amount shown before you pay. If the case is unclear, the order goes under review and we email you. Once an order is submitted to the carrier it cannot be cancelled. Unlocking does not clear any balance owed on the device. A correct 15-digit IMEI is your responsibility — an incorrect IMEI may result in a lost order.

Unclaimed devices

Devices not picked up within 30 days of completion may be considered abandoned.
